This composition has been written on request by Robbert Marseille. Robert is the bandmaster of the Dutch National Youth Brass Band of the Salvation Army and this piece is their Concert opener of the 2020-2021 season. The song where this piece is based on is "Boundless Salvation" of which the last verse says:

"And now, hallelujah! the rest of my days

Shall gladly be spent in promoting his praise

Who opened his bosom to pour out this sea

Of boundless salvation for you and for me."
