Tribute
This piece has been written for the 70th anniversary of the Amsterdam Goodwill Centre (GWCA).
The founder of GWCA is Major Bosshardt (https://www.legerdesheils.nl/majoor-bosshardt).
For this occasion I've been asked to write a piece as Tribute to the Major. This piece includes songs which where close to her heart and some references to her life, like melodies as "The Saviour Of Men Came To Seek And To Save", "Christ, Whose Glory Fills The Sky" and "How Great Thou Art". The third verse of "Christ, Whose Glory Fills The Sky" says:
"Dark and cheerless is the morn,
Unaccompanied by thee.
Joyless is the day's return,
Till thy mercy's beams I see.
Till thou inward light impart,
Glad my eyes and warm my heart."
